About our Club

Wharton Rotary Club was established in 1946. We meet every Wednesday at noon in the O’Quinn Room of the Wharton Civic Center located at 1924 N. Fulton St., Wharton, TX 77488 (see map below).

We have purchased tickets to come to your upcoming gala. I am wondering what appropriate attire is please. Thank you, and I as an past Rotarian in the Humble Intercontinental Club (I went to work at a non-profit and had to resign due to time restraints) I am happy to support your club and see a band that I love.

  We are so happy that you will be attending our upcoming Gala! Thank you for your ticket purchase! We will do our best to make sure you have a great time. As far as attire goes, guests usually dress with a western theme but some do not, so please don’t feel like you need to go out and buy an entire outfit just for this event. Some of the women wear long crinkled skirts, sometimes with cowboy boots. Others may wear pants outfits that are not western looking at all. The men usually wear khakis and dress shirts and some even wear jeans. Some men might wear a sports coat, but no ties. I would say wear whatever you feel comfortable with, but dressing up is not necessary. Just plan on having a good time and know that there will be a wide variety of dress there.
